The hell, an update?

Journal Entry: Mon Oct 8, 2007, 3:02 AM
No, not really. In case anyone actually pays attention to this, I've barely had enough time recently to even play video games, and apparently that has higher priority than doing anything vaguely artistic. As is, I've written, oh, maybe 5 lines on my projects. In several months. Woo hoo.

When will this change? I doubt anyone cares, but If you do, probably sometime after I graduate, since then I'll at least have the time off that was previously dedicated to school. That should happen around, oh, 2050. Oh well, not much loss, eh? now go visit some people with actual creative talents. You can find a fair number of those in my favorites section, but on this site it doesn't take much to find someone with talent.

  • Listening to: Winamp (little of everything)
  • Reading: Textbooks

  • Playing: City of Heroes, Master of Orion 3

Job hunting over. Well, for now.

Yeah, I got hired. By Dominoes pizza, as an assistant manager. It has been a rough (but profitable) first week, I'm looking at 49 hours as of today, and I had thursday off (for classes....). Between that and my CoH addiction, I've not had time to write much of anything. I've started on the Vicious Wanderer chapter 1, but its gonna need at least another 16 hours to finish, proofread, and edit, and I dont see that kind of time block comming up soon, and I really have to be in the mood for writing for it to come out right. I usually write in 8 hour chunks; it's kind of necessary so that I don't have to re-read the entire story to refamiliarize myself with it every time I write a small chunk. I prefer edits to be little changes, not moving large chunks around or deleting whole sections because they were redundant or didn't flow well with the earlier story.

Sooo.... I may be posting some of my earlier works before too long, as soon as I edit them a bit. Most of them are D&D related, meant as source material.

  • Listening to: Bruce Springsteen
  • Reading: O-Zone
  • Watching: Futurama
  • Playing: City of Heroes
  • Eating: Pizza
  • Drinking: Cherry Vodka. Almost as good as the rum

Yeah, I actually did some updates

What writing I have done has been slow... But I may do some picture updates since my camera finally works again. I would love to get commissioned pictures for many of my characters, but there is that whole money thing that I don't have... Oh well. I should also mention that some of the things I may post will be directly related to D&D, and, potentially the Warhammer 40k universe. The D&D ones will include mostly alternate races, classes, and rules rotating around two different campaign settings I've been working on. However, I'm still tweaking and balancing many of those things, so the system-independant stories may come sooner.

I don't think I mentioned this yet, but I am not a cosplayer; all the clothes I own I honestly wear with some frequency, but some of them are still pretty cool looking in my opinion, and I'll probably post what I think are the best ones. When I get around to it. There is that whole job-hunting thing, and trying to finish up school.

As anyone might guess, I'm no artist. I can do schematics just fine, but I know no one here actually wants to see those (unless you actually happen to be an electronics geek... In that case, um, let me know). I do some writing on the side, but as I haven't actually finished the storyline for any story I'm working on, don't expect those anytime soon. The real thing that might get updated is Favorites; I've been meaning to add several pieces to that, just haven't gotten around to it. I guess I should also add links to my favorite deviant artists... Well, that may come sooner.
